Both of these remote monitoring systems instantly alert boat owners and operators about potentially harmful changes such as power failure, presence of water onboard, fluctuations in temperature and humidity, carbon monoxide levels, and unauthorized access. When any monitored condition goes beyond the set safe range, the Sentinel systems alert designated personnel via text, email or phone call. This information helps operators spot unusual trends in equipment behavior, enabling them to take preemptive action before the anomalies turn into major issues.
The Sentinel system provides supervised 24/7 remote monitoring of up to 12 different status conditions.
The Sentinel PRO system centralizes and simplifies proactive around-the-clock monitoring by seamlessly interfacing with any equipment that uses a building automation system. The system supports up to 64 inputs pulled from existing building automation equipment and sensors, in addition to 12 digital or analog inputs.
Sentinel and Sentinel PRO users can easily access real-time data, change settings, set alarms and acknowledge alerts via their mobile device, tablet, computer or Sensphone app.
The Sentinel and Sentinel PRO systems maintain an uninterrupted connection to the Sensaphone cloud to confirm their active online status. If the communication link is interrupted—due to reasons such as a power outage or accidental switching off of the unit—the system generates an alert signifying a lost connection. Users are then promptly informed about this disruption via phone, text or email.
