The IMS Zone Water Detection Sensor is used exclusively with the Sensaphone IMS systems to monitor for the presence of water on a floor or in a false ceiling. When the included 10’ water rope comes in contact with water, it will trigger the Sensaphone to go into alarm. This sensor is ideal for use in homes, businesses or anywhere that is susceptible to flooding or water leaks. The connection from the interface to the IMS system can use an existing CAT5 network wiring infrastructure, which powers the sensor and allows it to be installed in locations away from the IMS host device.
