Sensaphone Introduces Enhanced Eight-Channel Remote Monitor System for Affordable Alarm Notification

Sensaphone 800 replaces 1108 model in protecting small businesses, homes, industrial facilities

Aston, PA., February 6, 2007 Sensaphone® has introduced the Sensaphone 800, a new remote monitor and alarm notification system, as part of an ongoing reshuffling of its product line. The Sensaphone 800 is equipped with enhanced features that include customizable voice messaging, programmable relay output, and a phone line seizure feature. It replaces the Sensaphone 1108, one of the company’s most popular products, and is being sold at the same price.

The Sensaphone 800 is a standalone remote monitor and alarm notification system requiring no monthly fees. With eight external inputs, it helps protect equipment and facilities by alerting owners, facility managers, lab technicians, building supervisors, and others to changes in critical environmental conditions. It can monitor operating conditions such as temperature, power supply, alarms, excess humidity, water on the floor, and intrusion.

The Sensaphone 800 monitors facilities 24/7 in the pharmaceutical and health sciences, food processing, electronics manufacturing, and agriculture industries, as well as homes and small businesses. Specific applications include health and science labs, cold storage units, cabins, vacation homes, and greenhouses.

When an alarm is detected, the Sensaphone 800 notifies up to eight people using customized voice phone calls that continue until someone responds. The 800 also comes with nonvolatile memory and has 24-hour battery backup capabilities (C-cell batteries required).
